SAFTY SEAT POLICY
It
is a Texas state law and CCART policy that all children under the age five and
less than 36 inches in height must be in a secure child safety seat during the
operation of the vehicle according to the manufacturer of the safety seat.
Therefore, if the available on-board child safety seat is
already taken, and the person did not bring their own, they will NOT be
permitted to ride at that time.
CCART SEAT
BELT POLICY
To
improve passenger safety, CCART requires all passengers whether occupying a
seat or wheelchair must be properly secured with a seatbelt in our vehicles.
Therefore,
if a seat is not available with a seatbelt, the person(s) will not be allowed
to ride.
